Each of our families can make an impact on every child at Jarrow by donating to our fundraising programs. We have four primary ways to give:
The Heart of Jarrow Fund
As with most independent schools, we count on support from our community to meet our annual operating costs and bridge the intentional gap between tuition and the true cost of a Montessori education. The Heart of Jarrow Fund allows us to keep tuition reasonable for all, and supports our goal of building a diverse community. Donations to this fund are critical to sustaining our academic excellence, exceptional staff, and quality programs. Full participation from our families also helps Jarrow plan for the future, continue to grow and thrive, and will communicate to foundations that our school is a community worthy of outside support.
Better Together: Our Annual Benefit
The most important event of the year, this unforgettable evening brings together our entire community for fundraising, toast raising, and great food and drink. The Gala includes a live and silent auction, a paddle raiser, and special giving opportunities like Teacher Wishes. Unique items including gift certificates, memberships, and travel packages are available.
Every year, a special project is chosen for the paddle raiser. In 2019, we raised money to support Teacher Professional Development. All other proceeds support our financial aid fund. Come and enjoy live music, delicious food, cocktails and dessert by a local chef. Stay tuned for more information on how to purchase your ticket.
Everyday Ways to Give
While these two initiatives provide Jarrow with the most fundraising dollars, there are several other ways that you can give. Please visit the Everyday Ways to Give page to learn about the many opportunities available to you.
The Tax Benefits of Giving and Colorado’s Child Care Contribution Tax Credit
Jarrow is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, so all monetary donations are fully tax deductible.
At Jarrow, this applies to donations made to The Heart of Jarrow Fund and donations to the Paddle Raiser and Classroom Wishes at The Annual Benefit for Jarrow. In-kind contributions of services or property (non-monetary donations) do not qualify for tax benefits.
Through the CO Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, taxpayers have a special opportunity to take an income tax credit of 50% of the total qualifying contribution.

Because each family’s tax situation is different, we recommend consulting your tax advisor for details.
