Almost every year for the past 7 years, I’ve hosted the annual gala. I have no experience in this realm, but when I learned how impactful the gala was in raising money for tuition assistance and special projects through the paddle-raiser, I jumped at the idea. I believe in Jarrow and the impact it has on not only my children, but our whole family. But more importantly, I believe that no one should be denied the Jarrow experience because they are financially unable to do so.
If the past year has taught us anything, it’s how blessed we are to have such amazing teachers guiding our children. We contributed because we believe in Jarrow. And we ask you to join us in giving whatever you can to help in this critical time for our school and community.”

“For our son Liam, Jarrow is so much more than a school. It is his community of learning and of friendship. It has always been Liam’s love for his school that has inspired us to participate more and give more, whether it’s through volunteering for events or bidding on classroom projects at the Gala.
Now as the Chair of the Board of Trustees, I have gone from a parent who wants to support my son’s school, to an ambassador of Jarrow, who knows the inspiring impact giving to Jarrow has had and will have on generations to come.
Right now, our school needs us more than ever. We want Jarrow to come out of this crisis thriving and we can make sure that happens by giving to the teachers and staff that have made this school such a wonderful part of our lives. We hope you will join us.”

“I am so thankful for Jarrow remaining open and keeping our kids in school. We came to Jarrow last year when we moved to Boulder and found a truly unique place that we value so much. I have witnessed my son, Preston, develop into a self-sufficient, confident and caring little boy whose energy and spunk is embraced and fostered. Though this year is unique and many of you new families haven’t had the chance to get to know the community as it would be if life were normal, I hope you feel as nourished as we do just being a part of this wonderful place.
I contributed to Jarrow because of how much it has meant to me for Preston to find a home here in Boulder and to show my appreciation for the teachers and staff who have made our lives infinitely more enriched.”

An Update from the Advancement Office
March 3, 2021
We are grateful to share that our campus is thriving and our children are happy to be with their friends here at school. But as we continue to keep the safety of our families a priority, we’ve committed to reducing the number of children enrolled and have invested in many expensive renovations which make it possible for us to social distance, from the highest quality air purifiers to additional bathrooms. This year, your support is more than essential, it’s critical. Together, we can help Jarrow sustain and thrive during this unusual time in our 56-year history. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and please don’t hesitate to contact me at shannon.marth(at)jarrow.org or 303-443-1511 x124 if you would like to discuss how you can make an impact here at Jarrow Montessori School.
With gratitude,
Shannon Crothers Marth
Director of Advancement
Why Give?
At Jarrow, we maintain an intentional gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. This allows us to offer moderate tuitions AND provide the highest quality Montessori education. Your gift will directly support our beautiful learning environments, special programs, faculty development, and tuition assistance.
Through the years, we have been proud to count alumni, trustees, parents, family members, grandparents, extended family members, and the entire staff of Jarrow as the heartbeat of the Jarrow Annual Fund’s success. We ask that you join us this year to help us surpass our fundraising goals and exceed our dreams. All gifts to the Jarrow Annual Fund are 100% tax-deductible.
