* What is entrepreneurship? Why do it?
* What are my skills and passions and how can they create a positive impact?
* What lessons can we learn from nature in design?
* How do we determine whether what we’re doing makes sense?
How can we help make a brighter future for all? In this creativity-centered program, we will hear stories, build skills, and gain perspectives that can help answer this and many other questions. We will use the fundamentals of design thinking (designing through empathy), biomimicry (emulating natural strategies) and permaculture (creating positive relationships) as our framework. Every session will include a game that explores these topics and a hands-on building challenge for students to create prototype inventions using legos, arts and crafts supplies, natural objects, and other surprise materials! During later sessions, participants will have the opportunity to develop a project of their very own invention that they feel will help make a positive impact in the world.
